The picnic was held at Admiral Fife Naval Recreation Area. A short drive north of Groton yet more than a few of us got lost on the way. It was nice drive for my group with an unexpected view of Rhode Island :)

The park was an excellent spot for us all to gather and share with each other. The food was outstanding, the beer was cold and the camaraderie was overflowing. It must be mentioned here that shipmate Randall “Red” Smith was responsible for the kegs. His employer provided all the beer free of charge. BRAVO ZULU Red!!
